Lampshade Restorations
At Victorian Elegance, old and used lampshadeframes are re-covered on a regular basis. Here you see an example of lampshades that date back 50 years. They are yellowed, torn and tattered. Our client had received these shades as a Wedding gift 50 years ago.
The shades were stripped, then rebuilt with what the client had in mind. They are both satin lined and trimmed inside and out. The shades can be finished with fringe or beading, and can also be made in any colour. We also have lace overlays and chiffon rosettes and pleating that will make your shade resemble a piece of art.
