| The Whimsey is seen here in a heavy gold fabric that is approx 100 years old and was used as Obi for a Kimono. The Red flower pattern was specificaly cut out for the centre panels. The trims are gold along with the gold hand dyed fringe and tassels. Beaded fringe is used to add color to the tassels. | This unique frame is created with gold satin and covered with a metallic embroidered organza. Side panels are left without lining to add another dimension to the organza look on the shade. The centre panels were transferred from a photo and sewn in as a focal point. The trims and fringe are hand dyed with colorful beaded fringe adding to the completed shade. |

| The Oval bridge frame is sewn with a heavily embroidered silk fabric and then overlaid with a co-ordinating irridescent organza. The trims and fringe are hand dyed in a pansy color and accentuated with Pink Splendour 6" glass beads. | The Sunburst is covered with a purple fabric which is then overlayed with an embroided sillk chiffon. Cut outs from a co-ordinating fabric are also used. The trims are Victorian Rose with a double row of beaded fringe accentuating the bottom of the shade. |

| The Sanddab is made with light blue embroidered silk and covered with a matching irridescent organza. Thebirs on this shade appear to be upside down, but the shade is to used as a chandelier ceiling fixture and hung upside down. The fancy trims are hand dyed as well as the tassels. The beaded fringe is blue and green to match the graduated dyes on the tassels. Silk tabs are sewn into the centre bars on the inside of the shade to accomodate suspension. |

The Red/Black/Gold silk Pagoda was made for a client that had the
perfect Asian base for it. The colors and fabrics were carefully
chosen to suit the customers needs and room design.

Larger
Chandelier sconces on a Vintage light fixture being used over a
kitchen table to add ambience to an eating area. They are made with
Ivory Jacquard and trims.

The
Provincial Oval frame is used to depict a Western style of Wedding.
The shade is made with ivory satin and heavily embroidered ivory
lace. The sides of the shade are heavily shirred in ivory chiffon.
Ivory trims and dyeable fringe are used along with Diamond Dust
glass beaded fringe.

The
Provincial Oval frame is used to depict an Eastern Wedding theme.
This shade is lined with bronze satin and covered with a metallic
embroidered bronze netted lace. The sides are shirred with bronze
organza and trims beige dyed bridal trims with pearl beading. The
fringe is a graduated hand dyed rayon fringe.

The
Crescent Moon is designed with Burgundy/brown cotton lining and
a matching metallic embroidered chiffon on top. The centre panel
boasts the photo of a Chinese Emporer. Trims are gold metallic with
a Burgundy hand dyed 6" rayon fringe.

A
small shade made with light gold satin beneath transfers of Chinese
ladies. The trims are Sage green with ivory shirred smaller inset
panels.

Wedding
chandelier lanterns made with beige satin and hand dyed vintage
wedding appliques. The trims are hand dyed to match, along with
the fringe. The fringe also has pearl clusters for trim at the corners.

The
flower tulip is made with white satin that has drawing of Queen
Victoria tranferred onto it. It is then covered with white chiffon
and trimmed with fancy white trims. The 6" fringe is white
dyeable to match.

Covered
in Rose satin and an overlay of embroidered organza. The organza
has a 3d carnation sewn into it to depict the Chinese mothers' flower.
The shade is then trimmed in Victorian Rose trims along with a 6"
hand dyed fringe that is alternated with Pink Slendour 6" beaded
fringe. This is to be used as a ceiling fixture with the "Tulip"
shade below attached inside (at approx 1/2 way up) to resemble a
blooming flower.

Covered
in Rose satin with an overlay of embroidered organza (as above on
the XLg Daffodil). The trims are Victorian Rose along with a 6"
hand dyed fringe. Pink Splendour 6" beaded fringe is used to
highlight at the intersections of the frame. This shade is used
as the inset to the above shade in a ceiling fixture application.

Recovered in Regal Satin, the color is a gold/ivory tone with Ivory trims. This shade is lined with Ivory satin and finished inside as well. |

Mounted Police |
| A unique twist to an Oriental frame. This shade is made with a Canadian Royal Mounted Police Red Serge Uniform. The antique based has been cleaned and restored. When the lamp is turned on the fire burns at the feet of the Officer. The uniform was adapted to this lamp with the pockets forming the main panels and the sleeves forming the side panels. RCMP appliques and pins have been added as focal points. The side trims are the yellow stripe from the pant of the RCMP uniform and all bars are finished with black leather as a final trim. |
